This is more of an update report--my Asus A7V motherboard is still going strong. Three years ago I spent a good 3 months sifting through online reviews and AMD product compatibility charts to pick my components. I made some good choices; this AMD Athlon-powered computer runs at 850MHz, has 256MB of Mushkin RAM, has the Asus A7V motherboard and also has some generic GeForce2 card. I stuck with a 3Com networking card and the Antec power supply and case.
