Putting that external drive to work
02 August 2007
My laptop was running out of hard drive space, but now that I've offloaded some data onto our new Seagate 250GB FreeAgent drive, I have enough buffer space to download the SICP video lectures.
Once I move to Linux later this month I'll have to get the files off of the drive using ntfs-3g or the other ntfs driver and then format the external drive to XFS, then put them back. And even then I'm not sure how to share the drive with Michelle's Mac.
